Sometimes, Windows keeps repairing the  disk with multiple boots that seem endless. This could be because the drive is dirty. There is a way to temporarily stop this seemingly endless process.

  1. Venu says:

Using recovery DVD or USB drive, access Command prompt. Type:

    fsutil dirty query C:

    Enter

If it says drive is dirty, type

    CHKNTFS /X C :

    Enter

    Reboot computer.

After that type Chkdsk /r C: at another Command prompt.

    Enter

The system will repair the disk only after the next boot.

DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK OR SEEK HELP FROM A PROFESSIONAL.
